Milano Finanza - Historic Ulturale ties change hands

The historic Neapolitan tailoring brand Ulturale has new owners.
The key shareholders are now Pierfrancesco Barletta, the company's new president, and Raphael Caporali, its new CEO. Both entrepreneurs, the former is active in the communications and media sector, the latter in the catering and restaurant sector. And it is not ruled out that other individuals will soon join the company.

Ulturale is a brand that has become famous worldwide for the seven-fold tie that is the hallmark of masculine elegance.

It is a historic brand for tailoring made in Italy, worn by entrepreneurs, politicians, showmen and heads of state.
One detail has always attracted customers: the possibility of giving it as a lucky charm since a gold and coral lucky charm cornet is hidden in the folds of the tie. Synonymous with masculine elegance, Ulturale with its exclusive ties created from a single piece of fabric has won the loyalty of the most refined and demanding customers and expanded its range of exclusive garments.
Each year the brand produces "by hand" about 10,000 ties.

"The goal," says newly appointed CEO Raphael Caporali, "is to further grow this historic brand; an excellence that we want to remain firmly anchored to its historical roots in the territory and in the creation of beauty and at the same time project itself into the world by making Ulturale one of the symbols of high-end made in Italy."

The DNA of the Neapolitan maison will not change. At the core will remain innovation strongly rooted in tradition, craftsmanship of workmanship, the uniqueness of each creation and the choice of exclusive materials. After steady growth in recent years, the challenge for the new ownership is to conquer international markets by bringing the culture of ties and accessories into the wardrobes of "global" customers who look to the handcrafted quality of elegance made in Naples.
