The Press - New shareholders for Ulturale ties. The brand now aims to expand abroad

New shareholders, new managers and new life for the historic tie brand Ulturale. The company founded in Naples in 1948 a few weeks ago saw a revolution. The group of entrepreneurs who controlled the company, including the descendant of founder Vincenzo Ulturale, in fact sold the shares to Pierfrancesco Barletta and Raphael Caporali, the former already active in the communications and media sector while the latter in the catering and restaurant sector. Barletta and Caporali own 60 percent and 40 percent, respectively, of the luxury tailoring business and will hold the positions of president and CEO.

"Thanks to the entry of the new reference partners, we see great potential for further growth. The quality of the materials, the entirely handcrafted workmanship, and the attention to every detail that make Ulturale's creations unique allow us to respond to the desires of the most demanding global clientele that demands the highest quality that is characteristic of high-end made in Italy," commented Vincenzo Ulturale.

The first goal of the new leadership will be to lead the brand to expand more and more abroad. The business plan, Caporali confirms, "is to further grow this historic brand, leading it to conquer selected international markets. Of course, the ad continues, "Ulturale will remain firmly anchored to its historical roots in the territory, but at the same time we think it has all the characteristics to be able to project itself as one of the symbols of high-end Made in Italy globally."

Ulturale is a brand that has become world-famous for its seven-fold tie, worn by businessmen, politicians, show businessmen and heads of state also thanks to a detail that has often attracted customers: the possibility of giving it as a good luck charm since a gold and coral "cornet" is hidden in the folds of the tie. To date, the brand produces "by hand" about 10 thousand ties a year.
